At Akoben, we are most interested in improving healthy community functioning. We believe that this is done when we strengthen ourselves in Restorative Practices, Trauma-Informed Practices, Equity/Cultural Relevancy and Agency & Assets. In this workshop, we will:
- Discuss some foundational Restorative Theory as it applies to our work
- Explore how we are showing up as Restorative Practitioners in the communities we serve
- Engage in activities to enhance our community conferencing skills
- Share stories, and establish commitments to harmonizing our approaches in RP implementation
