Leading in the Struggle to Serve
Learning and collaborating with like-minded individuals is one of the true joys of working in the field of restorative practices. So, we are immensely grateful to have the chance to lead our first Advanced Training of Champions in Wilmington, DE. Thanks to our partner TLi for graciously hosting this event at their own local Positive Change Academy. We can't wait to spend two days with fellow Champions, designing and deepening our skills in restorative practices through collaboration.
Positive Change Academy
July 19th & 20th
8:30 am - 4 pm EST
With over 300 Champions trained annually, the ATOC has become an effective way to equip our partners with the skills and knowledge they need to promote and implement restorative practices in their communities.
Through this two-day intensive, Champions have enhanced their thinking and approach toward restorative practices, leading to a more informed and effective adoption of this approach.
People respond in accordance to how you relate to them. If you approach them on the basis of violence, that’s how they will react. But if you say, we want peace, we want stability, we can then do a lot of things that will contribute towards the progress of our society.
The Advanced Training of Champions will be held on the verdant campus of Positive Change Academy in Wilmington, DE, conveniently located just off of the interstate 95 and Route 7 intersection, just across from Christiana Mall in Newark!
