Erika Brown, Ed.D.

Specialist

Dr. Erika R. Brown has contributed to research rooted in cultural relevancy, diversity and inclusion and organizational culture. She comes to us with several years of experience coordinating comprehensive workshops and developing in-depth strategic plans. Erika is incredibly passionate about the implementation of social justice initiatives, relocating from Kansas City to pursue this work more wholeheartedly.

Erika received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Alcorn University, immediately followed by a Masters in Secondary Education. She went on to complete a Teacher Education Program at the University of Memphis and later earned her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership & Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University. In her spare time, she enjoys over-indulging on her favorite foods and spending time with her three children- Malik, Mav’Rick & Mya. They often play board games, exercise and meditate together.
