Specialist

Joshua S. Lee, MSW, is an Akoben Specialist, who trains and coaches educators, parents, and community members in restorative practices, through a trauma-responsive lens, using action-learning tools to enhance the learning experience.
He is a Certified Psychodramatist and Certified Systemic Team Coach, with a particular interest in team building, communication, and leadership development. He is an innovator. One of his creations is a multidimensional and experiential coaching model called The Game Plan for Better Living where he coaches people to embody their strengths and resources to overcome life’s opponents. Additionally, he has created an innovative Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum for high school students in the vein of the coaching model. He has presented nationally and internationally in the areas of psychodrama and sociodrama*.
During the Pandemic, Joshua succeeded in supporting educators to share their experiences of, oftentimes, frustration, upset, and uncertainty in dealing with the impact of the Pandemic together in a safe, supportive space with each other by using a specially designed application of the Pulse Check. The extended Pulse Check for educators was experiential, allowing them to have common experiences, share affectively, strengthen bonds and build community.
And finally, he is clear that he’s walking in his God-given purpose:
HELPING HUMANITY WIN!
*Psychodrama and sociodrama, both help people tell the subjective truth of their lives in action, the former, individually, and the latter, collectively.
