Leading in the Struggle to Serve
Learning and collaborating with like-minded individuals is one of the true joys of working in the field of restorative practices. So, we are immensely grateful to have the chance to lead our first West Coast Advanced Training of Champions in San Jacinto, CA. Thanks to our dedicated partners at San Jacinto Unified School District, for graciously hosting this event. We can't wait to spend two days with fellow Champions, designing and deepening our skills in restorative practices through collaboration.
Monte Vista MS
June 14th & June 15th
9 am - 4 pm PST
With over 300 Champions trained annually, the ATOC has become an effective way to equip our partners with the skills and knowledge they need to promote and implement restorative practices in their communities.
Through this two-day intensive, Champions have enhanced their thinking and approach toward restorative practices, leading to a more informed and effective adoption of this approach.
People respond in accordance to how you relate to them. If you approach them on the basis of violence, that’s how they will react. But if you say, we want peace, we want stability, we can then do a lot of things that will contribute towards the progress of our society.
The West Coast Advanced Training of Champions will be held on the beautiful campus of Monte Vista Middle School in San Jacinto, CA. With ample parking available on-site, attendees can easily access this picturesque venue. For those who need overnight accommodations, consider checking out Soboba Resort & Casino or The Quality Inn in Hemet. These options provide comfortable lodging with easy access to the ATOC's location.
